You are bidding on a quite wonderful wood framed (measures approx. 12 x 16 inches overall excluding tab) vintage 1860's Ponti Megalethoscope Venice Panoramic Day/Night View.....(these views can be seen by either reflected or transmitted light and when viewed the latter way often show great coloration and or surprises! ). This view "Gran Canal : Place Cavalli & iron Bridge (Serenade). Venice", marked on the verso.  Photographic front side overall VG with no tears to the photo itself and EXC contrast...back side and right upper and lower corners of wooden frame have some rusty spots and on the front the black spots are made of wax but these do not affect ....when backlit the view shows hidden figures and streelights, etc.
