| You are viewing a very rare and "hard-to-find" " Detective Camera " with its original 12 quarter plates (9x12cm.) in a magazine leather changing-bag made by " Optische Werke C.A. Steinheil Sohne GmbH. " from Munich, ( Germany ) dated 1888 ca.. This camera has a special patented rotary shutter behind the Steinheil Achromatic double lenses, stops for which comprises holes in a plate sliding between the fromt and the rear elements of the lenses.The Camera has it own original carring case. The Camera is in a very good working condition, I would say Excellent condition in a Walnut cabinet making.
