This is one of a number of mounted albumen photos that I have listed that feature Italy.
This one is a view of the Porta Maggiore in Rome.
The photographer's details are not on the photo but even so its one of the most "antique" photo of one the "Door " in Rome. Photo with people !
It is 10 by 8 inches (250x190mm) it has lost some contrast but still very interesting from the costumes of the people waring.
